Home or hospital visit: $125. per hour / $65. per half-hour
All individual therapeutic sessions are adapted to meet the needs of each patient's unique situation, and as appropriate can include a blend of any or all the modalities offered.
THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for including different modalities in a session. The charge for a session is by time, not by how many modalities or services were provided.
Please note: after first session evaluation. a sliding scale may be available based on need.
Sessions include a variety of massage therapy techniques including Micro-Holding Technique (MHT) which was developed by Mr. Elder in 1997 in an acute care hospital setting to allow for therapeutic massage to be safely provided to chronically and seriously ill patients.
Sessions involve slow, gentle and comfort-focused massage therapy, and therapeutic positioning considerations. This approach is slow, gentle and is provided with subtle movement and joint mobilization. relief of symptoms and improving relaxation and comfort are the main goals of each session.
This therapeutic approach safely allows a patient to relax and release muscle tension naturally.
Depending upon need, and goals of a patient, sessions can include for example: MHT, as well as a variety of other massage therapy techniques to relax muscles, relieve symptoms and reduce swelling, and improve comfort.
If desired, environmental recommendations can be made to support creating an environment to improve sensory/experiential comfort, wellbeing and quality of life.
Please note: This method of massage therapy is NOT a full body massage. The work is area(s) specific -- treatment and is provided based on patient need and medical condition(s).

Mr. Elder's Mindful Movement Coaching aims to heighten awareness of the body and movement, it places the focus of attention on relaxation, balance and how the body is moved.
The underlying goal of each sessions is to gently strengthen weak muscles, loosen tight muscles and increase awareness of the mind and body connection in ways that are respectful to body and mind. These session promote health, fitness and wellbeing, while reducing injury.
Using a variety of western and eastern fitness methods: mindful movement seamlessly utilizes (as needed): aspects of Therapeutic Yoga, Qigong, strength training and methods of gentle stretching to improve physical awareness, fitness, balance, flexibility and heart health in safe, gentle, and pleasurable way.
Mindful Movement © (1990) is a slow, gentle and effective way to improve health and fitness levels. These fun and therapeutic mindful movement practices can be helpful with:
